The size of existing tiles should be used as the design basis for bathtub enclosures to avoid having to cut the tiles unnecessarily. The enclosure can be constructed from 30 or 50 mm thick Tulppa panels. The bathtub enclosure is only used to enclose the tub, which has to be self-supported. Cut the Tulppa panels into size and attach them to each other using Ardex CA 20 P, Casco AquaSeal or Kiilto XPU adhesive sealant. Secure the joints with screws and use sealing tape where necessary. Cut an inspection hole into the enclosure near the floor drain, which will also function as a ventilation hole.
